NRA First Steps Pistol Course: An NRA course. Offered to new shooters who own, plan to own or are just plain interested about handguns. The NRA FIRST Steps Pistol is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive a FIRST Steps Course completion certificate. NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course: An NRA course. This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive a course completion certificate upon successful completion of the Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination. "Couples Therapy" (in Home) CCW: A private instruction course designed/priced for couples who wish to become more proficient with a handgun, learn firearm safety, maintenance, and get session time with an instructor at the range in a private setting. Based on an NRA approved course. Express Carry CCW: This course is designed for experienced shooters who wish to obtain their Florida CCW Permit. Covering safety basics, the fundamentals of shooting, concealment, and an overview of Florida Law - this course is designed to give you the essentials for your permit. This is NOT an NRA approved Course. Private Instruction: If you thrive on 1-on-1 instruction, this option is for you! Achieve your shooting goals by spending time with a qualified NRA Certified Instructor who will take your individual needs at put them at the forefront of your training session. Instructor time is sold in 2 hour blocks, cost is per student. |
