These were our halloween costumes this year. Nate was Max and I was one of the wild things from Where the Wild Things Are. I ordered Nate adult sized footie pajamas which I added a tail that you can't see to and buttons. I found a hood by it's self at the thrift store and sewed ears and pipe cleaner whiskers. I was supposed to be the wild thing from the cover of the book. I had the blue fur (the lining from the jacket I made last years octopus costume from) and made a hood with ears and horns.

Ellie insisted on getting some when she saw Matthew's. Then when I put them on her at night, she'd wake up after an hour and yell, "I no like footie pajamas! I want regular pajamas!" So now she's only allowed to wear them to play.
