This is a close up of the mosaic nuno felted short scarf/neck wrap that I made myself just before Christmas. I was going to a party and wanted a piece to compliment some hand made linen, hemp and organic cotton clothes that I have from Blue Fish in Taos, New Mexico. I laid out overpapping pieces of chopped up silk chiffon and then laid two very fine layers of merino on top of these at right angles to each other. Once felted the whole piece was extremely flexible but strong and I was delighted with the result.
