Scanning old photos. Oh my! What creative photographers we had. I see: One big-ass turkey (before genetic modifications made them even bigger) a knife through my brother's head a plate with nothing but butter those free avocado colored mugs from the gas-station a moo-cow pitcher my dad, holding his brain a rotary phone faux french-provincial candlestick sconces a plastic gingham tablecloth and, dang!, did we really put outlets in the middle of walls back then... really?

With one of those tablecloths which should be called Gingham but aren't and you don't know what it's called and a disposable plastic cup with sweet wrapper gunk in it, at a school fair, in south London on a not too bad English summer's day. Well it didn't rain. Much. And I met Jay Rayner and had a chat with him too. So that was OK.
