11/25 and 11/26 - Christmas wreath and Popcorn sale fundraiser at Pleasantdale Church parking lot.
The troop had a great time camping at Mahon Dickenson Park this month despite a last minute change due to the fluke storm but everyone had a good time and all went well. The troop also enjoyed visiting the Naval Museum in October. Check out our photo page to see pictures of recent events.

January 6-8, 2012 - camping trip to Camp Allamuchy.
February 24-26 - Camping trip at Camp Mason
Online Advancement: Please keep Mr. Brennan, Mr.Dean or another leader informed of all advancement, they are keeping track of it on the computer and submitting it to the council through the online advancement system. Please make sure that any advancement you work on gets reported after each meeting. If you would like a copy of your advancement status it can be printed out at a meeting or e-mailed to you. Just let us know and we can email you the advancement report. For security we will only e-mail it to the e-mail address we have on file for each scout/parent.

New scouts are welcome. Hey Scouts, you can always bring a friend down to check us out. Your existing friends can help make troop events even more fun. Please note bringing a friend is a requirement for First Class. |

Troop 2 now has a private group on Facebook. Scouts, and former scouts are welcome to join. Just search for us and request to join, or email us if you are having trouble finding us. |

11/25 and 11/26 - Christmas wreath sale fundraiser at Pleasantdale
Church parking lot. This is an important fundraiser for us, at a
perfect time of the year (Saturday's snow notwithstanding!) and
location. Each Scout is asked to put in 2 hours at the sale, more
details to come following the 11/2 Committee meeting.
* January 6-8, 2012 - camping trip to Camp Allamuchy
* 2/4/2012 - Klondike Derby at South Mountain Reservation.
* 2/5/2012 - Scout Sunday. Services recognizing our scouts at Pleasantdale Church (our sponsor) at 11am. All are welcome!
* 2/24-2/26 - Camping trip at Camp Mason
* 3/16-3/18 - Troop camping trip at Camp Winnebago
* 4/20-4/22- Troop Camping trip at Jenny Jump State Forest and Pequest Fish Hatchery.
* 5/18-5/20 - camping trip at Sandy Hook
* 6/8-6/10 - canoe/camping trip in NJ Pine Barrens
* 7/1-7/7 - Summer camp (expected) | Email the troop if you need copies of any forms or permission slips or talk to one of the leaders at a meeting.
