Antiques, Collectibles, and other Fun

Throughout the City, many Victorian Homes are tastefully decorated with antiques and collectibles. Spend a little time in the several town gift shops where you may find that special something you've always "needed". Allow a little extra time for browsing Country Prim & Folksy, as it is a full service gift shop offering bridal registry and gift certificates.  For the antique lover, both memories and treasures can be collected from a large selection of items at the eclectic store adjacent to our town Florist.  On the other side of the florist is the Red Dot Gift Shop.   Opposite the Red Dot on Main Street is Mannington's Fine Jewelry store, all nearby the Bowers House.

Also nearby in Fairmont is a must-see antiques, collectables, and gourmet gift emporium, Located on Route 19 S of 250, the Showalter House at 235 Locust Avenue in Fairmont. The House is now home to the Tin Man Gallery, Castaway Yarn Shop, and more, nestled in with some of Fairmont finest Victorian Homes.   You might also wish to visit the Rider Gift Shop and Pharmacy for seasonal gifts, antiques, and any sundries you might need.  It is located 'across the Million Dollar Bridge' within one block of your left turn immediately after crossing the bridge.
