Known in the past as Boston’s Irish rebel band Boston's Érin Og has broadened thier scope of Irish music to a more eclectic repetoire of contemporary and traditional music. (They say the wars over, but we still have hope!) Erin Og's rollicking performance and crowd participation makes everyone in the room a part of the band. Drawing from years of experience playing Irish music, Érin Og have united together to form a veritable tour-de-force of Irish folk music in the Boston area. Mixing mandolin, fiddle, tin whistle, and driving acoustic guitar rhythms, along with powerful vocal harmonies, Érin Og is a band you don't want to miss.

 Bobby started his musical debacle, singing and fighting at the top of Winter Hill in Somerville, Ma. at a place called Mahoney's. Since it was always impossible for Bobby to keep his mouth shut, and tired of sporting a blackeye, Bobby decided to try and use his voice in a more positive and less painfull way, by singing at many of the sessiuns in the Boston area. With some degree of success, he moved on to join the Irish Volenteers band based in South Boston and then to become a founding member of Erin Og
David Mcgrath

 Dave began his career back home in Dublin busking and playing the local sessiuns, and like many of his countrymen, he decided in the late 80's to chance his future in the USA. Dave quickly capitalized on his amazing skill as a natural entertainer and singer, becoming a founding member of the very successful band The Old Brigade. As fate would have it, he met Bobby in a Police line-up and the rest is history Steve "The Fiddler" Maher

 Steve like his compatriot Dave before him, moved to Boston in 1995. Steve has played the fiddle from the very young age of 8 years old, having won many competitions in his native Dublin and being trained by his father (a legend in the Boston Irish music scene) Aiden Maher. Steve, like Bobby and Dave, cut his teeth in the many sessions in the Boston area, and then moved on to the band the Symbolics. With his wild fiddle playing, vocal harmonies and sense of humor he soon gained the attention of Erin Og
