I harbor no ideas that this is a flattering photo of me in any way. These were Nanie's glasses, probably purchased at some time in the 60's. I know there is a photo of her wearing them from 1973. They are trifocals and--get this--she was hanging on to them, waiting for them to come back into style because she loved them so much. Let's just say, I won't be choosing this style for myself any time soon.

Magazines in the lobby included Motor Trend, Readers Digest, More, TV Guide and Good Housekeeping.
