Kodak Cine - Lense and Adjustment
This is the front of the antique movie camera. Here it is laid on its side to make it easier to read the type. There is a metal plate with descriptions to help you make your f stop setting from 1.9 - 16. The lense has adjustments for distance from 2ft to infinity. The chrome lever along the top edge is the locking mechanism for the lense, so there was a facility for changing lenses. The circular glass bit is the view finder... there is a corresponding glass window on the top edge where your scene is illuminated (right edge in this pic / not seen). In the top left you can see the on/off switch which sets the spring mechanism in motion.
