Bay of Plenty Music School 2012

Music School 2011

Rotorua April 13 - 15

2012 gives musicians a further opportunity to participate in the Bay of Plenty Music School and Rotorua is pleased to host this popular event.

This will be the 43rd year for the Bay of Plenty Music School which is run with the assistance of the University of Waikato. It caters for choral, orchestral and band musicians of all levels, providing a unique learning and working opportunity in a relaxed atmosphere under the guidance of experienced conductors and section leaders.  This builds towards a performance on the Sunday afternoon.

The Music School was started in 1966 in Whakatane by Stanley Farnsworth and has evolved to be the largest surviving Music School in New Zealand. It has a heavily subsidised entry fee making participation affordable.  Good quality meals are provided. See brochure for more information.

Enrolments are now open. See enrolments page.
