Think about the last movie trailer you saw that made you really want to go to the theater. What was it about that movie trailer that sparked your interest? Or think about a television commercial you saw that made you look forward to watching a new show. The commercial provided just enough information to leave you wanting more. The goal of a book trailer is similar--to create interest in a book which will someone to read it. The book trailer below was created by the book's publisher. It is a full-production trailer with actors. Other types of book trailers include flash animation and still photos with text/narration. YouTube has a lot of great examples of fan-made book trailers of all types. You can make many different types of book trailers for little to no cost.
