A true professor: should have passion for knowledge. Then one acquires a significant body of knowledge, the will to impart the knowledge generously with little need for preparation, and creatively contributes to significant developments in his fields.
Our ancestors are great. My mission is not just for Nobel prize, but to out-perform our ancestors.
The only way to learn the truth is to see beyond the eyes.....but certain truths are better not to be known too early.
It is like education......one must go through level 2 before reaching level 3.

Ultimate teaching: A teacher of the future should be able to explain concepts in such a way as if knowledge is teleported to the mind of the student.

Photon Correlation
Photons are thought a independent particles. If atoms can be correlated, why not photons. Correlated photons show interesting characteristics; interesting for being beyond usual perception and being useful for technological applications such as subwavelength microscopy, lithography and precision spectroscopy. Can you imagine light with correlated photons? Can you imagine the "light in Heaven"?

Quantum Microscopy
When two atoms interact, we have a new entity: a two-atom, which produces correlated photons that yield information on the strength of the interaction, i.e. the interatomic distance.

Entangled Two-Photon Laser
Atoms can be entangled. Photons can too. Why not put entangled photons in phase? We have a new kind of laser, e.g. entangled two-photon laser.

Coherent backscattering of CARS signal from a microparticle
Looking for a microparticle in a haystack by shining a laser on it? It sounds impossible. We found the backscattered light is promisingly large and coherent, about 10% of the incident light. This gives a new spectroscopic tool.

Philosophy
Heaven and Earth last forever.
Why do heaven and Earth last forever?
They are unborn,
So ever living.
The sage stays behind, thus he is ahead.
He is detached, thus at one with all.
Through selfless action, he attains fulfillment.
Ancient people with magnificent beard (the sign of mental and spiritual maturity) are intellectually, morally and spiritually profound, like Confucius: the great Man of literacy.
Nowadays, people are too developed materialistically but primitive spiritually. They lose the true sense of greatness. Their minds are restricted by materialistic pursuit.
a) Korea University, where I earn a living from those who hardly know me.
b) Beauty and harmony are in Nature. Nowadays, people abuse Nature and seek artificial beauty like this fountain-lake in KAIST which is, although very beautiful, cannot match the natural beauty of Nature.
c) Korean foods, simple, plain and healthy. Many things are good when simple but modern people create a mess by incorporating decorations into foods. That is the foolishness of "ingenuity".
Peace: Ancient beauties cannot be found in modern times. Why? Earth has been predominantly inhabited by men with lack of intrinsic virtue. Mother nature degrades due to these men. (right) A path through tranquility in a jungle of Malaysia. The best elements are found in Nature. The worst thing is craving to be recognized by fellow human beings. No prize is greater than the prize from God, acquired through self-fulfillment and lasts forever. A person who can understand this has reached a high mental state.

Advanced technologies at present day don't entirely belong to human beings !
Aren't you surprised to see science has advanced rapidly in the early 1900s? Why this time?
