My name is Ellen Renee Boggess and I am an education major at the University of Northern Iowa.  I am minoring in science and am very interested in teaching environmental science, and biology.  I enjoy visiting my family's beach house in Texas during the summer and I love my puppy Darby! 

    I want to be a teacher because I want to be able to impact students' lives in a positive way.  I want to be a positive role model for them as well as work to create a strong, healthy relationship with each of them so I am able to suit their needs.   

    What I hope to achieve through teaching is that I will be able to further them academically and socially with their personal growth as individuals.  I hope that my guidance and teaching will help them not only become productive in their lives, but to achieve their greatest potential.
