The following are our club rules that ensure each game is FUN and enjoyable for all club members. We are proud of the fact that we run a fun and respectful game each week while maintaining an enjoyable level of competition. Any violation of club rules will be referred to the Club Committee and may result in a warning, followed by a 1 game suspension, followed by removal from the club. - NO SLIDE TACKLES!
- We play a 5-YARD OFF SIDE rule called ONLY by the Goalkeeper.
- Fouled player must call the foul ONLY... honor system.
- Hand balls are called by the closest defender to the ball ONLY.
- Late players and newer members will start as subs.
- CAPTAINS - will manage subs, team formations, team strategy, and player positions. Their decisions are to be respected.
- Game Wait List - please post a note in the game forum to be added to the
wait list for that particular game. You will be added based on your
post time.
- Unannounced guests or club members that have not RSVP'ed for that week will NOT play.
- Players that RSVP and are a NO SHOW will be referred to the CLUB COMMITTEE and may be warned, suspended, and removed from club on repeat violations as this takes away a spot for a player that would have shown up to play.
- No physical aggression towards another club member and/or excessive arguing will be tolerated.
- Players must pay the appropriate $2 or $3 charge for the field where applicable. Failure to do so is cause for removal from the club.
- Players absent for six weeks or more will be moved to the inactive players list and a player from the wait list will be moved into the active players list. If you are removed you can contact the club administrator to be reactivated.
- Members who are genuinely injured will be given 8 weeks
before being placed on the inactive list. If they are out for more than
8 weeks they will need to join the wait list, same as above, before playing again.
- New
members will be placed on the "wait list" and will be added as
current members become inactive. Preference will be given to players recommended by current club members. New members will join with the clear understanding that they will play defense for the first couple of months, if they do not like this they will remain on the wait list and a player willing to play defense will be added instead.
This is due to the fact that we are always short of defenders and we
also do not want newer members taking more popular positions from our
senior members.
- CLUB COMMITTEE - A committee of 5 senior club members to decide:
- Players breaking our rules in
terms of behavior conduct and no-shows will be referred to the Club
Committee who will then decide on action including suspension or termination
from the club!
- The committee will also meet to decide any changes in rules that govern the club or how we play our game each week
- AUTO RSVP - is a benefit for our most senior members:
- Senior member must be "active" and attend games every week
- Member must not miss more than 2 games in a row
- If member is a no-show they are removed from AUTO RSVP
- Senior members removed will need to wait for an opening to be re-added
- AUTO RSVP limited to 16 players.
