Who Are Ya?
We are a multi-skill level, pick-up soccer club located in Boca Raton, FL. We play games every weekend and occasionally on weeknights. We are always looking for other clubs to play friendly matches with. Please contact us for more details. History Our first pick-up game was in March of 2008 with only a handful of players and no name or organization. Today we are known as the Boca Rats FC with over 40 active members throughout South Florida. Our name comes from the historical reference to the City of Boca Raton. The Spanish "Boca de Ratones"
means rat's mouth, a term used by seamen to describe a hidden rock which
a ship's cable might rub against. |
