Health Issues

Always tell your teacher if you have any health issues such as:
  • High or low blood pressure
  • Knee, back or neck pains or problems
  • Recent surgery
  • Diabetes
  • Pregnancy and post-natal
Such issues will not prevent you from doing Yoga,
but I can advise on which postures are suitable and unsuitable,
and suggest modifications to the postures that will suit you.
It is always a good idea to consult your doctor first.

You are in charge of your own health so listen to your own body. It's fine to sit back and rest, watch or relax at any time in the class.

Challenge yourself, but If it hurts you are overdoing it.  Pay attention to the structure and alignment of the posture, but not the extreme end point.

Have fun and enjoy the freedom and time to your self.
