 Hometown Christmas will once again happen in Boalsburg. Mark your calendars for December 2^nd and 3^rd.  The schedule is as follows:

5:45 – Caroling at Community Tree

6:00 – Announcement of Christmas Drawing Contest Winners & Lighting of Tree

6:15 – Drawing for “The Best of Boalsburg” Christmas Packages –register to win at Main Street shops

6:30 - 8:30 – A Taste of Boalsburg $45.00/person – Liberty Hill -  reservations required – call Cori Kalupson (814) 808-6061 by November 21, 2011

 

Saturday, December 3

 

9:00 – 11:00 – Breakfast with Santa – $5.00/person - Boalsburg Fire Hall

12:00 – Christmas Parade

12:00 – 4:00 – Tours & Exhibits – Boalsburg Heritage Museum

12:00 – 4:00 – Farmer’s Market – Fire Hall

1:00 – 4:00 – Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides – age 12+ $2.00 – under 12 free

2:00 – 4:00 – Cookie Sale -Boalsburg Heritage Museum

2:00 – 2:30 – Children’s Story Time/Hot Chocolate/Music –Fire Hall

3:00 – 3:30 – Children’s Story Time/Hot Chocolate/Music –Fire Hall

6:00 – 9:00 – Holiday Hop – $3.00/person - Boalsburg Fire Hall

Christmas Cookie Contest

During the Hometown Christmas in Boalsburg, the Boalsburg
Heritage museum will be sponsoring a Christmas cookie contest.
Hometown Christmas will be held on December 2 & 3, 2011 . The museum will be open for tours. The Garden clubs will decorate for the holidays and our current exhibit features colorful Pennsylvania Folk art.

To enter the contest:

1. Bring one dozen cookies - any type of cookie is welcome - to the museum on Friday, Dec. 2nd from 2-5pm.

2. Include recipe if you want to…!

3. also, in a separate bag, place two cookies for the judges to sample.

4. winners announced on Saturday, December 3rd at the Boalsburg Firehall during Breakfast with Santa .

5. There are two categories: Adult and Youth (through grade 12). Prizes awarded to both categories.

6. Along with the cookies please include your name and phone number where you can be reached.
