Kerry from “Better Earth” spoke about their vision to get as many people as possible to use household products that have little or no effects to the broader environment. The better earth products are bio-degradable, contain only harmless chemicals and are certainly better for the earth than the more conventional cleaners. Peter Oebell from Novelty Business Concepts, told us that about how his company has hired people who lost their jobs in the textile industry to make durable and easily transportable shopping bags, and anoraks. Also Tanielle requested that we invite all of the attendees and none attendees to a launch of Forgetmeknot. Creations from cast-offs launching on the 11th July at 3 Kingfisher close, Kenrock Estate Houtbay, 19:00.
