BNL VOCAL MUSIC FALL CONCERT ATTRACTS 300

The Bedford North Lawrence High School Vocal Music Program thanks the almost 300 people who attended the concert on Sunday, October 12th. The Fall Concert featured the students of the Vocal Music Program performing various Folk Songs and Traditional Music selections.

Vocal Music Program Director Brian Samarzea [sah-MAR-jah] was very pleased with the attendence and reception of the concert. “It's exciting to see that many people interested in our music program. I'm very proud of our talented students. They put on a great show this weekend.”

The Vocal and Instrumental Music Programs will present a Jazz concert in November. The BNL Orchestra will present a concert in October as well.

All are invited to attend. Admission for these upcoming conerts is free. Donations to the BNL Music Department are always graciously accepted.

The BNL Vocal Music Program and Performing Arts Center welcomes all audience members to attend these events. Tickets will be available for each event depending on the performance and venue. Brian Samarzea is an Minnesota native and has been the Director of the Bedford North Lawrence Vocal Music Program since 2006. He studied music at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He is also the Music Director of Morgantown United Methodist Church and serves as Adjunct Faculty for the University of Indianapolis.
