September 8, 2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BNL CHORAL PROGRAM ANNOUNCES 2008-2009 SCHEDULE The Bedford North Lawrence High School Department of Music has announced its schedule of events for the Vocal Music Program. Director Brian Samarzea (sah-MAR-jah) explains, “It's a full year of challenging programs. I'm excited to be able to show the exceptional talent of these students to the Lawrence County community, and to the rest of Indiana.” “This year,” continues Mr. Samarzea, “we will continue to build on the talent we have discovered and developed, as well as to build on the successes we've had in recent years.” Mr. Samarzea refers to the successful production of Grease performed in the spring of 2008 at the BNL Performing Arts Center by students of BNL. Brian Samarzea is an Minnesota native and has been the Director of the Bedford North Lawrence Vocal Music Program since 2006. He studied music at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He is also the Music Director of Morgantown United Methodist Church and serves as Adjunct Faculty for the University of Indianapolis.
