The   training   is   designed   for   scientists,   researchers, personnel   from   development   organizations,   research
fellows   and   PG   students.   One   or   two   interested participants  may  be  nominated  from  each  organization for the training. The training course will be useful to the professionals  and  students  working  in  biotechnology,
biomedicine, biological   sciences  and    allied    sciences.
  

Venue:

The   training   will   be   held   at   Biomedical Informatics   Centre , School of Telemedicine & Biomedical Informatics SGPGI, Lucknow. 

The training will help enable the participants to:

• Learn  how  to  use  public  molecular  databases  for DNA and protein sequence analysis.
• Searching and comparing DNA and protein sequences by using programs like BLAST, FASTA, etc.
• Aligning multiple sequences and doing phylogenetic analysis.
• Prediction of genes and regulatory elements in the whole genome of organisms
