Members of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Southern California Inc. (BMDCSC) include Bernese owners who are interested in the club sharing information and participating in activities related to their Berners. The BMDCSC is composed of people who have a common interest who meet together in various activities that involve their Bernese Mountain Dog(s). Although some of the members actively show their dogs at American Kennel Club events, most keep their Berners only as companion dogs. The BMDCSC is one of the approximately twenty member Regional Clubs of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America. Membership in the BMDCSC includes families from Santa Barbara to San Diego and beyond. . The Club's medium of communication to BMDCSC the membership is the club newsletter, "Berner Tales".
