Dale Earnhardt was the greatest driver to ever live. 

We lost one of the greatest people to walk this Earth (other than Jesus) on Feb. 18th 2001.

    I actually got to meet Dale Earnhardt when I was young. I got his autograph. I was only about 10 at the time but I don't think I will forget the day anytime soon. It wasn't the greatest day of my life or anything but it was a pretty good day. I was one of the last people to get his autograph, they only handed out like 1200 tickets and I was somewhere around 1100. It was pretty late in the afternoon by the time I got to get my autograph and he had been signing stuff all morning. When he got to my stuff he actually said hi and commented on the picture I had him autograph (it was one that my Dad took of him at a race). I thought that was awesome because he was signing a promotional poster they were handing out to everyone too so it was 2 autographs for everyone. I was just really thankful for that autograph.
