This type of huge and fascinating rock formation was near the single tree momumentt or memorial that was right in the middle of a major highway. That single tree picture is right next to this one on my Flickr photostream. I am thinking Wyoming, but not sure. YES, it turns out off I-80 in Wyoming. Very cool geological formations. This was a cool game where students would run in pairs to a checkpoint where they would be given instructions as to how to finish the race, e.g. 3-legged race, jump rope, after winning rock-paper-scissors with 3 teachers, etc.. Looked like a lot of fun!
