The Blue Ribbon 10K for Prostate Cancer Awareness, presented by Fifth Third Bank, is a scenic 10K and 2 mile walk starting at Wick Park in Youngstown, Ohio. The 10K will proceed through the campus of Youngstown State University, into Downtown Youngstown, and then return to Wick Park. This 10K is tough enough to challenge any avid runner but perfect for the first time competitor as well. Walkers will make two laps around the revitalized and beautiful Wick Park.

Parking available behind Stambaugh Auditorium.
 Proceeds from the event will allow physicians at Humility of Mary Health Partners to provide prostate cancer screenings, education, and advanced medical treatment to the men of the Mahoning Valley.
Volunteers
Volunteers are still need to help with this event. Anyone interested in voluteering should contact Lori Shandor at 330-729-1188 or lorilyn_shandor@hmis.org.
Volunteer Training Meeting will be help on Tuesday, September 7 in the Azalea Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. The meeting will start at 5:15 pm and last 30 to 45 minutes. Volunteers will be there assignments, t-shirts and all details concerning the September 12 event.
Registration
Participants can print a registration form from this site and mail it to the HMHP Development Foundation or registration is available at http://www.active.com/running/youngstown-oh/blue-ribbon-10k-for-prostate-cancer-2010
Entries recieved before 9/10/2010 are $17 for the 10K and $10 for the 2 mile walk. All race day registrations and those received after 9/10/2010 will be $20 for the 10K.
Prostate Cancer Survivors are welcome to join us on September 12 for either the 10K or 2 mile walk, free of charge. Registration is still required.
Race Packet Pick-Up
Early packet pick up will be on September 10 in the lobby of Partners for Urology Health, 6262 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Race day packet pick-up will be at Wick Park in Youngstown starting at 7:00 a.m.Awards
10K – Top three overall male and female. Top three males and top three females in each age group. 2 Mile Walk – Top five overall Awards ceremony to start by 10:45 a.m.
Age Groups 14 & under, 5 year age groups thru 69; 70 & over T-Shirt guaranteed for the first 200 participants!
