I was out with my mom at 9AM taking our dog Baby to the groomer's place to get her hair cut yesterday (October 4th), and we sat around in the parking lots of a few stores for about 2 hours waiting for the groomer to get done with Baby (because by the time we got home, we'd have to turn back around to go pick her up, so we just thought we'd wait around for two hours). While we were sitting in one of the parking lots to a store scratching off lottery tickets, I hear this whop whop whop really loud. I look out my window and see this helicopter flying super low to the ground over the parking lot! At least only like 40-50 feet up! I had seconds to turn my camera on to take this as it flew by, and I caught it at the most perfect moment! I was so happy when I reviewed to see what I got! I love the light shining on the tail of it. I am so proud of this! And you can see a plane flying in the distance behind the helicopter's silhouette, leaving a trail of smoke! I thought it was just really cool how everything pulled together for this shot! The sun, too! I really love it. :) I'm so happy. I saw it again later after we picked up Baby hovering low over a spot behind a building and trees (I think by some houses, too). I have no idea what it was doing, and I didn't hear any police sirens, so I really have no idea what it was doing. I tried convincing my mother to go drive near it so I could check it out (...and get another picture from a super-low perspective LOL!), but she refused because she was tired and wanted to just go home. :( I can't wait until I can drive on my own so I can just leave an hour early for everything. I swear this to you, I'll probably always stop and pull over to take a picture of something, so I'm definitely going to have to leave like an hour early for everywhere I go. My camera will never leave my side LOL. I should probably just glue it to my hand once I get my new one in January, hahaha! - Taken with a GE A1250 digital camera. So I look at the front of the store and it also got some notes stick to the front wall. The resolution of this photo is bad because facebook suck at it, but these postings are actually proposals/requests for marriage/relationships/dating partners. They write down their contact info and probably put up a photo beside it then awaits passionate souls to respond. These postings are mainly written by ladies wanting a boyfriend/husband but there are some written by guys. Some of them are quite romantic, but some are quite cheezee and hilarious. I won't translate them because they go in and talk about their one-night-stand experiences and stuff. You can become my flickr contact and zoom in on the photo to read it yourself. This is store number 103 in case you're wondering. I didn't ask how much it will cost to have a posting up but the store lady was too busy playing Solitaire on her computer.
