Cornea guttata from fuches dystrophy
This is an extremely close view of an eye. Here you can see the light-beam going through a cornea that is suffering from fuchs dystrophy. If you look at the back of the cornea (the right-portion of the lit-up area at the bottom of the photo) you can see guttata (aka guttae). These are small bumps on the back surface of the cornea and they are a marker of this disease process at the endothelium and descemet's layer of the cornea.
