Join with Bludgeon & Skewer in planning the Great Nevada Raid!

The current leader uf the US Senate is Harry Reid of Nevada. There have a been a rash of recent MSM media reports that his home state support may not be sufficient to ensure his re-election to the US Senate. Ergo, Harry Ried might be vulnerable.

Here at Bludgeon & Skewer, we think this justifies planning and executing a series of internet raids into Nevada to further erode his support among his base and enable the Libertarian candidate to exploit the gaps created by our actions.  The modus operandi will be a variation of the tactics we used in the US Senate race in Georgia to force Saxby Chambliss into a costly runoff. For more background on this technique, please visit the Buckley Campaign section of this website and listen to our radio ads. They worked.

 

First, we will indentify four of his most egregious acts as a sitting US Senator. It won't he hard to work up a list, there are shady land deals, questionable campaign contributions and statements right out of his own mouth that will be easy to ridicule. Bludgeon and Skewer believe in the power of ridicule.

 

Second, we will produce a series of  30 second MP3's that will be posted on various political podcasting sites to get the ball rolling as we engage in the long term business of tearing his credibility down while accentuating his less than desirable traits. Like greed, stupidity, being Harry Reid,  etc.

 

Third, we will seek to enlist the assistance of other State Libertarian parties in this effort and concentrate our efforts in 2010 on this one race in that particular state to elect a Libertarian to the US Senate. An achievement that would have profound effects on the politics of America
