This website has a good short description of eight different biomes.
Enchanted learning has information about each biome in a table format.
This website is from University of California at Berkeley and has nice pictures of biomes and lists some animal names for each biome.
This “cyberzoo” has some of the most well known biomes linked to animal information. Click on the biome name, and then click on the animals link to find a chart of animals adapted to that biome. This site is by the Missouri Botanical Garden, and is well worth a visit! After clicking on the picture of a biome, topics on a menu on the side offer all kinds of information and pictures.
Animal Diversity Web is a list of all kinds of animals divided by their classes. Pick the kind of animal you want, then you can see if lives in your biome. All kinds of useful information about its adaptations are included.
