We are building a database of people interested in participating in our studies and we are interested in hearing from children,
adolescents and young adults who would like to take part in our research.
At the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (University College London), we have an ongoing programme of research with many different projects investigating how different brain functions develop from childhood to adulthood. This research is led by Dr. Sarah-Jayne Blakemore. This work helps us to understand better how the brain matures and how different cognitive functions develop at different ages. Most of the projects involve paper and pencil or computer tasks, games and stories, and we also run brain-imaging studies. Most projects take place at University College London, in central London, although we sometimes visit people at their homes or schools. Your personal information will be stored securely and kept confidential. Experimental results from our studies will be stored anonymously and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. You will be free to withdraw from our research at any time. We are flexible about the time of appointments and can see people over more than one session if necessary. Please find below an information sheet (for parents and children, or adults participants) regarding registering on our database. If you are interested in taking part in our research and register on our participant database or would like further information about our research, please contact:tel: 020 7679 1168 email: devdatabaseicn @ gmail.com |
