Oh look...... those lovely little Matryoshkas have made a welcome return playing in a field of magical mushrooms and wild flowers. This time they have found themselves sweetly decorating a sewing/knitting bag. I know what you're saying- 'But she's used this combo before'. Yes it's true I have and I plan to do it again, I want rows of Matryoshkas and HUGE colourful mushrooms. This whimsical combination makes me smile and that can only be good, besides I find the Matryoshkas cute faces so irresistible! Some information you need to know- So that your precious and often expensive sewing tools are kept secure I decided to pad my bag with a wadding, this is unlike most sewing/knitting bags which are not always lined either! I like to think of this bag as my modern variation. I have created this bag using a variety of beautiful fabrics- linen, cotton and felt, it is trimmed with a dainty red flower braid. I have lined it in a medium weight calico- because this is a practical and hard wearing fabric. It measures approx 25.5cms/10inches long and is approx 23cms/9inches across. The handles are made of plastic, they measure 15.5cms/6inches across and they are very comfortable to hold. My bag is fun and practical and will keep your scissors, tape measure, needle book (maybe not a pin cushion as the pins might find themselves poking through- ouch!), stitch ripper and even buttons tidy.

Figured it was time for one of these. Not pictured are my iPhone (being used to take the photo) and V-Moda headphones (wearing while jamming during photo taking). Could fit in my Apple Keyboard & TomBihn protector case for it too, which I sometimes do, just not shown today. I sometimes carry more, sometimes less. Already looking at my next bag purchase. Here in Japan ... it's actually cool for the guys to have awesome bags. Epic win.
