The Saskatoon Knights of Columbus welcome you to the Blackstrap Youth Camp web site!
Experience the fun and adventure of summer with your friends at Blackstrap Youth Camp.
The dates for the camp in 2009 have been set: July 5-10, 12-17, 19-24,
July 26-31, August 2-7 and 9-14. Camp fees have been set to $190.00 plus
GST for a total of $199.50.
Week-long camps are
held throughout the months of July and August. Campers take part in a
variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including canoeing, swimming,
hiking and tenting.
This camp gives youth aged 9 to 13
the opportunity to experience God through nature and fellowship with
other young people. The camp is sponsored by the Saskatoon Knights of
Columbus and is fully endorsed by both Dioceses of Saskatoon.

All
camp activities are supervised by a responsible counselling team. The
total staff-to-camper ratio at Blackstrap is one staff member to six
campers.

Please note: Our camp operates on a zero tolerance policy for bullying and physical violence.
Blackstrap
Youth Camp is located south of Saskatoon, near Dundurn. Campers stay in
clean, spacious dormitories with bunk beds and mattresses (12-14
campers/dorm).
Balanced nutritional meals prepared by our experienced kitchen staff are served in the modern kitchen/dining facility.
The centrally located showers have both hot and cold running water, and washrooms have full sanitary facilities.
In
addition to the on-site first aid station, fully trained First
Responders are available in the nearby town of Dundurn. Complete
medical facilities are available in Saskatoon, located within a
half-hour drive from the camp. Other features of Blackstrap Youth Camp
include:
