Baby Pajamas Sale. Childrens Silk Pajamas. Family Guy Footie Pajamas Baby Pajamas Sale
Day 7: baby clothes, two boxes So much. Held onto because it seemed very important, for a long time, to both hold the memories of Penny's babyhood and to plan ahead for possible girlchild #2, who is currently on hold (though I feel very strongly #2 is meant to be, now is not the right time, despite previous efforts at planning ahead that made me certain that now would be exactly the right time to conceive). Last night I sat on the floor of Penny's beautiful large closet and pulled out two bags of the tiniest pajamas and shirts and pants and thought, you are beautiful, but I can also let you go. I kept one small pile of very-important baby memory clothes, and here is all the rest of it ready to go back out into the world and clothe other babies. It feels good. Now in Penny's closet the only things remaining are clothes hanging up to keep, and clothes hanging up to consign at the big consignment sale on 9/16 (which will be Day 24). No more giant boxes of clothes on the floor. No more giant vacuum-bags of clothes piled to one side. What's crazy to me is that I've been giving things away for one whole week now and still (still!) there is a box in my living room full of old pots and pans that has yet to make it into the car. And so far I've only been doing giveaway stuff from the third floor (bedrooms) and haven't yet touched the second floor (living room and kitchen), never mind the first floor (office space with Giant Closet Of Doom) or most of the garage. Craziness. So much stuff. Proof already that moving physical stuff leads to other mental changes: after months & months of thinking about it and doing nothing, yesterday I finally filled out my passport renewal paperwork, and started the process of getting Penny's minor passport. Yes. Big things. Big wishes. Day 7: Retail Therapy
feelin much better after a bit of retail therapy...not pictured is the mint chip ice cream from Ben & Jerrys, rootbeer from Ben & Jerrys, the lens cleaner I got at Lens Crafters, and dinner at Sweet Tomato's Salad Buffet...
