So here's the thing: I have tiny, paw-like feet. Size European 36. Sometimes 37. Yesterday, my parents-in-law threw a Birthday Bash -- my father in law turned eighty last week. They requested our presence at 13:30 and the party, as it turned out, didn't start until five. SO, I was ever so slightly annoyed and tired and depressed and went home at a quarter to five, just intensely fed up. Fed up and IN HEELS. I am not a heels person, so halfway home I stopped at a kids' clothing store and bought some kids' flipflops. And they were just WAY TOO BIG.
