Our kitchen will be shaped basically like LI, too wide for island, too narrow to really be galley. Here is a 3-D rendering courtesy of the IKEA software. There will not be glass on the cabinets and the cabinet under the sink will match the wood. And there will be a dishwasher next to the sink. Our fridge is black. I was somewhat limited by the software. Oh, and we are not doing pulls. The bottom part of the L will be a bar with extended countertop so we can pull up chairs.

countertop colors?

Here's what our kitchen will look like, minus the color of the countertops. What color would YOU pick? (Since there may be a budget to replace them in a year or two. Painting may be an option but it would have to be very durable.) I kinda like the white as I've drawn here, but remember the sink is a cream color, not actual white. (The black dishwasher has to stay, sorry.)
