Pig napkins - Linen runners. Pig Napkins
Show me how the little piggies eat! After editing this photo, i will never be able to look at my face the same again. I think i'm mildly-to-moderately traumatized. Anyway, this is for Project SoulPancake's challenge to go a whole day eating without utensils. In real life, that is actually not much of a challenge for me at all. In fact, my ratio of non-utensil to utensil meals is probably skewed heavily towards the finger foods. I eat a lot of tofu pups and fake chicken nuggets. Bagels, little carrot sticks, celery (which can be USED as a utensil when getting peanut butter from a jar). I'm starting to realize that i eat like a 5 year old. For the picture portion of the assignment, i was sort of picturing eating something MESSY without utensils. And it immediately reminded me of that scene from the movie A Christmas Story, (which i love and watch religiously every Christmastime) where the mom gets the little brother to eat by asking him to pretend he's a piggy, and he smears the plate all over his face. The thought of doing that myself actually made me a gag a little, since i have weird things about food and it getting on me, but i figured it would be fun enough to make myself a pig. Until i saw the finished product. And it scared the crap outta me. 286/365 Made Explore. Bear's Log 20/30: Ol' McDaddy Had a Farm
2009-04-20 This is the picture we have hanging in our foyer. It's actually a decorated paper napkin, but dad liked it and framed it. I am more one for culture and the big city, but still I have to admit that farms and farm animals have this soothing effect on me... Yeah, I guess I kind of like them... but don't tell Jolly!
