The Satalite Lab
I have always called my studio my "Lab", because of the wild cackles of delight that can be heard from it, when an experiment is successful. This is my "Satellite Lab"...or the end of the bed in the guestroom. I had a piece of 1/4 " plywood cut to fit and place it on top of a vinyl table cloth. The vinyl tablecloth is placed upside down, so any spills are caught in the fabric of the soft side, slowing them down. I'm usually just art journaling here, which is a little less messy. This crazy mess expanded to include another folding table, once I started really assembling characters. No floors, beds, bedspreads or pillows were harmed in the making of the Alice room, in case anyone was worried.
