 Mention PERVERSION and most people jump to thoughts of sexual abnormality, but today’s news bulletins regularly describe criminal actions which ‘pervert the course of justice’. In economics the term "perverse incentive" refers to a policy resulting in an effect contrary to the policymakers' intention. Perversion is all around us, but nobody mentions mankind’s biggest perversion: loneliness. Humans are social animals, so which kind of PERVERSION envelops Bangkok’s millions of lonely, sad people?
Following the success of Manco Li Cani, ALL SOUL Production’s bristling return to the cabaret stage will be an experimental plunge into Perversion, a fluid work in progress enticing audience–actor interaction, as new characters mingle with some of the dysfunctional figures who haunted Manco Li Cani. The event is signed by Maurizio Mistretta and Geoff Costley and is played by Patchanee Poonthong, Marco Berti, Geoff Costley, Massimo Galieti and director, Maurizio Mistretta.
The Teatro Italian restaurant is offering a convenient Aperitivo Package (wine, pizza and delicious snack) as well as an a la carte menu.

 The series of acting workshops continues with Module B: The Theater of Relativity/Athletes of the Whole Being with John Marengo.
Objective: Training that combines diverse acting methodologies to acquire the individual actor's own unique way of acting formulating into a 'work in progress' performance.
Program 1) a. Warm - ups - (Relaxation, physical, vocal) 1) b. Games- (Theater games, Barker, Boal) 2) Improvisation - ( Steppenwolf, Spolin, Cassavettes, Boal, Strasberg, Vakhtangov) 3) Primal Character Behavior - (Child, animal, silent, snap emotion/styles) 4) Impulse Trigger - (Repetition exercises, sense and gesture memory) 5) Psycho- Physical - (Chekhov/Archetypes, Transactional/Status , Moreno) 6) Acting Elements with Script - (Purpose, action, subtext, activity) 7) Work in Progress performance
Cost -- 3,900 baht for the first month (12 hours = 325 baht/hour) Subsequent months to be assessed

Play On! - a comedy by Rick Abbott

 The Pattaya Players are proud to announce that tickets are now on sale for their full length, laugh-a-minute production. Directed by Ken Lund, this show within a show will delight patrons of all ages! Amateur dramatics takes a good-natured ribbing in "Play On," Rick Abbot's 1980 comedy about the offstage and onstage antics of a community theater group. When the group is offered the royalty-free play "Murder Most Foul" from new playwright Phyllis Montague, the group welcomes the chance to put the theatre back into the black for the first time in years. The group tries desperately to put on the play, amid all kinds of maddening interference from its authoress, who keeps revising the script until almost opening night. During the actual performance anything that can go wrong does. At the curtain call, Phyllis decides to give a speech on the state of the modern theatre and what befalls her is the madcap climax to this hilarious romp!
