Paolo Fresu was bron in Sardinia in 1961 and graduated from Cagliari Conservatory in 1985. In 1996 he was granted best European musician for his composition “Académie du jazz”. At present he is involved in numerous projects, which take him all over the world for more than 200 concerts a year. The Quintet was founded in 1984 and has won many prizes as top Italian jazz group.
