Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation in association with B.Grimm and NUNi Productions proudly present this three-act Baroque opera which tells of a tragic love story between Dido, the Queen of Carthage and the Trojan hero, Aeneas.
The production will be directed by NUNi Productions’ in-house director Pattarasuda Anuman Rajadon, whose previous operas included The Threepenny Opera and Il campanello. The cast consists of 20 talented singers, including Saran Suebsantiwongse, Monique Klongtruadroke and Ayano Kimura.
The BSO will be conducted from the harpsichord by a renowned Israeli conductor and harpsichord soloist, Shalev Ad-el He is the Director of Accademia Daniel, Oslo Baroque Soloists, guest conductor and soloist with Israel Philharmonic, Israel Opera, Berlin Symphony, Berlin Philharmonic Stradivarius Soloists, Halle Philharmonic, Sydney Chamber Music Festival Orchestra, and New York Philharmonic Choir.
