BITS '69 Educational Trust

Privileged by our education at BITS Pilani we form this Trust as a extension of our friendship and an understanding that the education of Indian youth is a cornerstone to the Nations progress.

Vision
Make a small but meaningful contribution to improve the education of underprivileged and rural youth - particularly the female child - of India.

Mission
Grow our friendship, encourage participation, be involved and then pass this Trust on to the next generation in the hope that the friendship for each other and compassion for the underprivileged continues to grow.

Approach
  1) Start in Rajasthan, make measurable progress and then expand to other parts of India.
  2) Adopt selected rural schools and enhance the quality of education.
  3) The selected school must have a BITS 69 friend, their spouse or children who have a passion to adopt the school and a personal commitment to it’s education.
  4) Select and fund small and worthy charitable organizations that are focused on educating rural or underprivileged youth.
  5) Measure progress to established goals.
