Trash barrel Painting We are currently looking for organizations who would like to get involved in a community project by painting trash barrels that are located in our parks and cemetery. This would be a great project for youth groups, scouts, school art classes, or religious organizations who want to teach their children the value of community service. The City will prepare barrels by cleaning and sanitizing them, dropping them off at any location that is convenient for you, supplying the paint and brushes if necessary, and picking them up when done. There are many cans in desperate need of a little TLC.
Recreation Leaders We are currently seeking people who are interested in leading and assisting with programs. If you or anyone you know have experience in educational, athletic, art, or health-promoting activities please let us know. We are always looking for ideas for new programs as well.
