Wall shells of shell-walls
A wall made of shells out of the small creatures which used their shells for walls. This temporary decor covered about 20 sq metre of the pandal (= temporary festive structure) walls for Kali Puja. This is a 1 day wonder, as the festival lasts for just 1 day. Next day everything is thrown away. Lake Town, Block "B" Kalipuja, Calcutta, 9.11.2007 / 21:40hrs
