 We'd like to thank everyone who attended BB2011 for making it the best Bihu in Birmingham ever! It was a very special day for us and we hope that all our guests felt the same too. We'd like to apologise if there were any shortcomings in our arrangements and are open to all constructive feedback. For those who could not attend due to various reasons, we appreciate your replies and hope to see you next time.
Our plan is to hold the next Birmingham Bihu in 2013. Due to the success of this year, we will be planning for a larger audience. Finally, we'd like to note that the raffle revenue of £350 collected on the day has been donated to the Assam Sishu Kalyan Sadan charity in Jalukbari, Guwahati which has been doing some excellent work in looking after orphans for many years. with grateful thanks, Dr. Shyam Saikia & the Birmingham Bihu Committee |
