Lace napkins
Chuck's photo of his grandmother reminded me of these photos he helped me scan of my grandma and grandad. This would have been about 1938 - there was no money, but my grandmother had a friend who was a photographer, and she had some lace napkins and ribbon to stand in for a proper dress.
