Bird Napkin Rings : Red Checked Tablecloths : Black Damask Tablecloths. Bird Napkin Rings
Prototype wedding crafting. It has begun. I think this is a decent prototype. Things that will change: - the ribbon color. I want a paler yellow and preferably something with stripes - the construction -- the "flower" will be on a pin-back so that it can be worn when its job as a "napkin ring" is over - the button will be more interesting Concerns: - I *love* this fabric. But the little birds are getting lost. - The edges fray. This could be solved by a) using pinking shears, but MAN that would up the time it takes to cut them (to rotary cutter for that one edge -- unless there is a rotary pinking shear...); or b) by hemming (see above). - I'm a little teensy bit worried that it's too twee. The rest of the table is white. White on white. In fact, the whole wedding is basically white or beige, just because that's what color the space is and it's really beautiful that way. We like things minimal, but I wanted a pop of color... too much? Anyone know of any beautiful tealy blue fabrics with small prints? Something that could be used in a 1" strip and not get lost. And I apologize in advance. It's gonna be all wedding for a while around here... w11 0703QW 032
We wrapped all the silverware in napkins, and secured them each with a strip I stamped with a bird and embossed in silver. On the flipside of each paper was a quote Photo by Honeysuckle Photography.
