The energy and time lost to unresolving interpersonal and interdepartmental conflict is a drain on any organization. Oftentimes just the word conflict evokes a “run for cover” response. But, with this training, the picture of conflict starts to look more like potential for welcome change.

You’ll find attitudes shift more readily and without drama as conversations move towards exploring solutions. Teams find that in fact, every conflict can be productive. Directly confronting conflict can actually energize a department. This happens when members are aware of their varying conflict management approaches and how they impact the collaborative problem solving process. Participants in "Conflict Reframing" are given the opportunity to identify their usual approach and response to conflict. We then work with participants to develop practical strategies, confidence, and a positive outlook for making conflicts productive.
