Wada Lab.

  We are a biomechanics group  led by Professor Shigeo Wada in the Department of Mechanical Scienece and Bioengineering in the Osaka University in Japan. Through both analytical approach by experiments and synthetic approach by computational simulations, we aim to clarify the hierarchical biomechanical structure from biomolecules and cells to organisms, and to study mechanical adaptation phenomena and remodeling which are essential in the biological events. Furthermore, based on those understandings, we aim to develop an innovative support system in medicine such as a computer aided diagnosis based on the computational biomechanics.
