The Nature of Science

Scientists are skeptical.  They seek the truth based on observations and data that have been collected in an unbiased and reproducible method.  Most science courses begin with a review of the scientific method and the nature of scientific thinking.  The Earth Science text describes the science process as "a continuous cycle of asking and seeking questions about the world." Check out the following internet site about the nature of science and take the on-line quiz. http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evosite/nature/index.shtml
