Environmental Earth Science

This sophomore class will prepare for the CAPT science test through the study of the nature of science, chemistry, environmental issues including pollution, solar energy, mapping and the features of the earth. 
 
CURRENT TOPIC:  Polymers are very large molecules and can be natural substances, such as, proteins and DNA.  Other polymers are synthetic, very useful, but not usually biodegradable, such as plastics.  CAPT LAB: What are the qualities of of plastics that make them useful polymers?
